STPS has been nominated for “Volkswagen Scouting Logistikinnovationen”!

The STPS digital solution from SINFOSY has been nominated for 20 “Nominated Top innovators” this year as part of the scouting of the logistics of the Volkswagen Group and the Institute for Production Management (IPM).
There were more than 430 innovations from 33 countries. However only 20 from them were invited to undertake further steps. STPS from SINFOSY is on its way as well!
What is STPS?
STPS is a mobile information board (digital communication tool) that optimizes communication processes in production and logistics companies.
STPS helps deliver the right information to the right employees. For this, the employee in STPS will find all the information he needs on an iOS or Android device or on the PC. All activities are documented and available for all relevant employees, without any “information overflow”.
“System as a Service”
The applications are based on the “System as a Service” model. This means that Sinfosy operates the software and IT infrastructure required for the systems and makes it available to its customers as a service. These access the data provided for them via the Internet or in the cloud, usually via web browser or app. Customers only pay a usage-based monthly fee and low initial implementation costs. The systems can be used in many different ways and are individually tailored according to the use case.
In 2017, STPS was awarded with the Metal Innovation Prize by the State of Brandenburg. Now it is going further with the nomination “Volkswagen Scouting “Logistics Innovations”.

The Top Innovators will be invited to a European factory tour of the Volkswagen Group in order to have a better idea of logistics needs on site and to adapt their presentations on the innovative solutions later. Afterwards, 10 finalists will be selected who could present theit solutions on 14.05.2019 at the Innovative Logistics Solutions Day in the CongressPark Wolfsburg.
