“Logistics and Supply Chain Management as enablers for a successful digital economy”

Digitization can only be successful if it is closely linked to all processes in a company. Production and trading companies should pay special attention to logistics. Processes within the company can be optimized as well as the entire value chain. The combination of digital platforms and intelligent and economical logistics solutions provides the basis for new business models. This enables additional value creation with new revenue channels.

The central topic of the event is “Logistics and Supply Chain Management as enablers for a successful digital economy”. The event will give an overview of the current trends in logistics and supply chain management. Among other things, the connections to smart production (also referred to as Industry 4.0) and to integrated systems of the enterprise software ERP are shown. Best practice examples and new business models are presented.

The 6th Technology and Application Dialogue is an event organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy of the State of Brandenburg and the Technical University Wildau in cooperation with the Chamber of Crafts Brandenburg and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Cottbus and the logistics network Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. It is meant to serve the exchange of experience and networking.
